Privacy at a glance

1. What information is collected
Evaluation requests. The form collects your property address, home type, bedroom and bathroom counts, name, email, phone, selling timeframe and moving goal. If you use a planning tool, your selected preparation preference or moving-sequence result may accompany your request. FormSubmit processes form submissions and delivers them by email to info@realtorgagan.com. Its verification service may process technical information. See FormSubmit’s privacy information. We use this information to respond to your requested evaluation and coordinate appropriate follow-up. Submitting the form does not subscribe you to marketing.
Information you provide. If you email us, we receive your email address, name or contact details you include, the contents of your message and any attachments. A home inquiry may include your property address, preferences, budget or moving timeline if you choose to share them. A community submission may include an event description, photographs and information about people featured.
Please provide only information needed for your request. Do not send banking details, identification documents, sensitive health information or other sensitive records through an ordinary website inquiry. If further information is needed for a real estate transaction, appropriate collection arrangements and additional notices will be provided.
Technical information. Hosting, delivery, email and security providers may process IP addresses, device and browser information, request times, requested pages and error or security logs to deliver and protect their services. Hosting security and any access-control services are governed by the hosting platform’s privacy notices.
2. Why information is used
Information is used to respond to your questions; provide requested neighbourhood information, home shortlists or market consultations; review community submissions; maintain relevant correspondence; protect the website and prevent misuse; and meet applicable legal or professional obligations. We collect only information reasonably needed for an identified purpose.
We do not use your private correspondence to publish a personal profile, testimonial or community story without obtaining the necessary permission. Information you authorize for publication may be visible to the public, copied by others and indexed by search engines or AI search services. Avoid submitting another person’s personal information or photograph without their permission.
3. Consent and your choices
When you voluntarily contact us, your information is used to address that request, consistent with the context and applicable law. This does not amount to blanket consent for unrelated uses. Additional consent will be sought where required, particularly for sensitive information, new purposes or optional marketing.
You may decline to provide optional information or withdraw consent by contacting us. We will explain any effect on the requested service and any information we must retain for legal, contractual or professional reasons. Simply browsing this policy is not consent to advertising, tracking or marketing.
4. Email and marketing communications
The current website has no automated newsletter subscription. Evaluation inquiries are handled as requests for service, not general marketing consent. If marketing communications are offered, we will obtain express consent or rely on another lawful basis permitted under Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Commercial electronic messages will include required sender identification, contact details and a working unsubscribe method. Unsubscribe requests will be honoured within the applicable legal deadline, generally no later than 10 business days.
You may also email us to stop optional marketing. Necessary responses to your requests or legally required communications may continue where permitted. We may retain limited consent and suppression records to respect your choices and demonstrate compliance.
5. When information may be shared
Information may be handled by service providers needed for website hosting and security, email delivery and business record management. They should receive only what is needed for the relevant service. Website hosting is provided through OpenAI Sites and its delivery infrastructure; external platform services are also governed by their own applicable notices.
If you request real estate services, relevant information may be shared with Royal LePage Signature Realty and authorized service providers as needed for that request, subject to applicable notices and consent. Information will not be sent to a lender, lawyer or other independent professional merely because you browsed the site.
Information may also be disclosed when required or permitted by law, including to meet regulatory duties, respond to valid legal process, investigate misuse or address a security incident. We do not sell, rent or trade inquiry lists.
6. Processing outside Canada
Hosting, email and other service providers may process information in Canada or other countries, including the United States. Information processed abroad may be accessible to courts, law enforcement or other authorities under local law. Contact us for information about the providers and transfer arrangements relevant to your inquiry. We remain responsible for personal information within our control and for appropriate protections when service providers process it on our behalf.
7. Cookies, analytics and external links
Google Tag Manager (container GTM-MK2H7NZX) loads from Google to manage tags. Google may receive technical request information such as IP address and browser details. The website sets analytics and advertising consent to denied by default. Published container tags determine measurement behaviour; consent-aware Google tags can send limited cookieless signals when consent is denied. A visitor consent mechanism and tag-specific review are needed before enabling consent-based analytics or personalised advertising. Website images are served as site assets. Fonts are requested from Google Fonts; your browser connects to Google’s font services, which may receive your IP address and request information. See Google’s privacy policy. The hosting or authentication platform may use essential cookies or similar technology for delivery, security and access controls. Browser settings can limit cookies, but restricting essential cookies may affect sign-in or access.
Links to school, City, conservation, library and other websites take you to independent services with their own privacy practices. Email links open your chosen mail application; information is sent when you choose to send the message. This site does not control external websites or email providers.
The evaluation form sends the details you enter to FormSubmit when submitted. Planning tools operate in the page without saving your answers to browser storage. If analytics, advertising, embedded videos, subscriptions or an IDX provider are added, we will update this policy and provide appropriate notices and choices. No Analytics measurement ID, Ads conversion ID or newsletter/IDX integration has been added by this website installation. Tags separately published in the Tag Manager account must be configured and reviewed by the account owner.
WhatsApp contact. The floating WhatsApp button opens a conversation with Gagan Verma at +1 647-910-1111. No WhatsApp widget or tracking script loads on this website. Following the link opens an external service; messages you choose to send, your phone number and profile details are processed under WhatsApp’s privacy practices and used to respond to your inquiry. Opening the link does not automatically send a message or subscribe you to marketing.
Call scheduling. The “Schedule a Call” section uses Calendly. Its embedded calendar loads as you approach the scheduling section; a separate link opens Calendly directly. Calendly may process technical information and cookies, and collects the contact and booking details you provide to arrange your call. Its own privacy policy applies. Scheduling a call does not subscribe you to unrelated marketing. Your evaluation-form entries are not automatically shared with the calendar.
8. Retention and disposal
Personal information should be kept only as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected, including responding to inquiries and meeting applicable legal, brokerage, professional, consent-record or dispute-resolution requirements. There is no single retention period for every record. When no longer needed, information should be securely deleted, destroyed or de-identified; limited copies may remain in protected backups until their normal expiry.
You may request deletion. Where a record cannot be deleted because of a legal obligation or other lawful reason, we will explain the restriction and limit further use where appropriate.
9. Security and privacy incidents
Safeguards must be appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, including limiting access to people who need it and using appropriate technical, organizational and physical protections. No website or ordinary email transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. Please contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorized disclosure or a privacy incident.
Where applicable, we will assess suspected breaches, maintain required breach records, and notify affected individuals and the relevant regulator when the legal reporting threshold is met.
10. Access, correction and complaints
You may request access to your personal information in our control, ask how it has been used or disclosed, and request correction of inaccurate information. We may ask for proportionate identity verification to protect your information. Under PIPEDA, applicable access requests are generally answered within 30 days, subject to lawful extensions and exceptions. Any permitted fee, extension or refusal will be explained as required.

11. Children’s information
This site is intended for a general audience and is not designed to collect personal information from children. A parent or guardian should handle inquiries involving a child and provide any required consent for publication of a child’s information or image. Contact us if you believe a child’s personal information has been submitted without appropriate authorization.
